3D Academy: Discovering a new wave of learning

3D Universal Academy is a language learning institute that specializes in practical ESL training courses. ESL or English as a Second Language aims to develop the English language proficiency of non-English speakers from different parts of the globe. ESL training courses develop the English skills of the students who want to learn English.
3D Universal Academy, located in JY Square, Lahug, Cebu City, occupies La Nivel Hotel and is beside the JY Square Supermarket. The school isn’t really hard to find.

For a short background, 3D Academy was established in 2002 and was previously named “MTM JY”. And in 2012, during their 10-year anniversary celebration, the school was renamed “3D Universal English Institute Inc.” And as of now, the school is continuously training more and more international students.

The name of the school has a significance too. Three words that start with letter D is what the school really stands for.

“Discover” – The teachers help the students “discover” their potentials and strengths. With this discovery, they are able to maximize their capacity in learning the courses.

“Do” – The students are encouraged to “do” their tasks and assignments to fully accomplish their goals. The teachers also “do” their best to support the students.

“Develop” – After all the work and studying, the students must continue to “develop” their now accomplished goals. This means, students are encouraged to continue developing their skills in speaking, writing, and understanding English.

To fully maintain what the students have learned in 3D Academy, the school inspire students to “Learn English through daily conversations”. The school believes that through this, the English training they’ve learned will never be forgotten.
