Want a cup of cappuccino with a Rosetta art on it? Of course! They would make one for their customers.

Behold. The Entrance (at night). Tazza Café and Patisserie was established two years ago on the 26th of April by a lovely couple who is into coffee and baking.

Tazza Café and Patisserie is a little coffeeshop—30- to 40-seater café —within the heart of Lahug. Believe it or not, it’s just a two-minute walk away from an ESL school, 3D Universal Academy, and a 15-minute walk from Cebu’s I.T Park.

This café serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, coffee and other drinks.

It is situated a few meters away from the main road, which is a pretty good idea considering that there is too much noise from the honking and clanking of the vehicles rushing by. You don’t want to hear any of that if you want to relax now, do you?

With these inverted cups dangling on the ceilings, it indubitably tells you that it is Tazza alright.

Want something more exciting? Food + Beverage = Php 1.00 worth of cake. Isnt’ that a steal or what?

For every meal and drink (with the exception of their starters, softdrinks and mineral water) that you order, the cake is now Php 1.00. Wouldn’t that complete your day?

Here I present to you their luscious cakes, brownies, and other pastries well-thought by the owner. Seriously, their cakes are divine. The hard part? You don’t know which one you’ll choose.

Oh, let’s not forget that their servers/baristas are personable and undeniably artistic.

The last time [two of my friends and I] were given two complimentary slices of cake from the affable owners. Their servers/baristas even added their artistry on the plate.

Here’s a slice of Mango Mousse Cake with a smirking snowman etched at the side. Thank you for the warm-heartedness.

DÉCOR

Unlike any other coffeeshops, what makes this poles apart from other cafés out there is its mood and setting that is adorned with different coffee-related sayings on the walls and on the tables. You might want to take note of them.

It is not just a good idea. It is the best.

You can opt to have your cup of joe here while you study. I see some of the students from 3D English Academy or even other ESL students from nearby English schools sitting by themselves with their notebooks sprawled on the table as they sip their coffee and review their lessons ; or better yet chit-chat with friends over coffee; or just chill and savour the taste of the drink they ordered.

You can stop at JY Square right across a road that is facing Watsons or the road that goes to Camp Lapu-Lapu (you can tell the driver). From there, you will see Tsai Hotel, which will be your landmark because the café is just right beside it. If not, find Pino Restaurant because it is just right across it.
